Club Activities:

Offline:

The organization will hold various activities on and off campus, including on-campus discussions, global connectivity, social media, street interviews, interviews with professionals, etc:

1. Organize weekly activities: discuss hot international topics and exchange ideas with foreign schools.

2. Organize off-campus activities including interviewing, video recording, and volunteer activities.

3. Organizing Large-scale activities: including public welfare activities, festival activities, etc. Festival activities will be held during the festival and will consist of parties, experiencing foreign cultures and sending videos of blessings.

Online:

1. Every month, we will connect with foreign schools for online communication.

2. Periodical publication: integrate Chinese and foreign views and summarize the similarities and differences, and publish in the form of text on the public account.

3. Release B station &Youtube video: Video content includes one international topic per episode, experience American festival culture, interview passers-by's opinions, etc.

Purpose:

WLSA international club is a joint association between WLSA School in Shanghai, China, and Shady Side Academy High School (Pittsburgh ranked second) in the United States. The core concept is to identify the differences between Chinese and American culture by communicating popular international topics from multiple perspectives and conveying them to more people. Through this exchange of ideas, we want to promote the young people of China and the United States to understand and establish diplomatic relations between our two countries.
