MONTHLY PLAN

September

We will basically introduce the information of public forum debate, including the basic rules, the whole process of different competitions, and specific techniques for different speeches (videos, discussion, small debates of different topics)

October

Introduce the topic of NHSDLC autumn 2023 tournament: Resolved: Private sector investment in human space exploration is preferable to public sector investment. We will provide a reading list to explore the topic and teach research skills. Everyone needs to find partners. (small debates and writing)

November

Prepare for competition. Each group needs to write contentions and blocks, and practice crossfire (formal debate, peer review). We will have a competition with the Zhengxi students.

December

Introduce British parliamentary debate discusses and practice.
